Hosted in a beautifully restored old house with modern facilities and Cape Yellow-wood floors. Enjoy either a Continental or Full English Breakfast in our stylish dining room, or take a few moments to relax on a large wooden desk and enjoy the magnificent views of the Boschberg mountain.
Copper Moon Game Farm is situated 60 km South of Somerset East on the Northern Border of Addo Elephant Park and is nestled in a Valley surrounded by bush, offering stunning views from the verandah ensuring the “African” atmosphere.
Guests have access to the entire Lodge as well as the 8500 ha game farm. Self drive game drives will produce plenty of game viewing opportunities. Beside the indigenous game of the area: kudu, duiker, steenbok, springbuck, bushbuck and mountain reedbuck, plains game such as Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Cape Mountain Zebra, Eland, Waterbuck, Nyala, Impala, Giraffe and Sable Antelope are plentiful. Predators such as Black Backed Jackal, Lynx and Leopard can also be seen. The smaller game, such as Porcupine, Meercats, Hares and Antbear are seen by the more intrepid guest who enjoy night drives.
The Lodge has 3 bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom. The spacious living area consists of open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. Solar electricity and gas fired hot water geyser, stove with oven ensure the modern comforts.
Copper Moon Self-Catering Lodge is fully equipped with microwave, toaster, and all crockery and cutlery, including kitchen utensils. A Weber is provided as well as a mobile BBQ.
The spacious verandah is ideal for outdoor meals and simply relaxing in comfort. Chopped wood is provided for both the outdoor BBQ or the heating stove in the living room for those cold winter nights. A shop a few km away can assist those who might have found themselves an item or so short.
The range varies from rolling Karoo Hills with valley bush, to the foothills of the Zuurberg. Montane grass thrives on the mountain and it’s deep bush valleys allow wonderful views. Bird life abounds and the spectacular views are a photographer’s dream.

On the banks of the Little Fish River, approximately 4km outside Somerset East, on the Suurberg - Addo Road (R335) you will find Die KAIA.
Die KAIA offers self catering accommodation in 4 tented chalets, as well as camping and caravan sites.
Every morning the fish-eagle will announce the break of day and, if you have the opportunity, you can see how the Bushbuck enjoy a drink of water, while the otters play around with pure joyfulness.
Along with your early morning coffee and rusks, you hear the birds singing along to tell the world that the morning has broken and that it is time to enjoy life. If you have a fishing line in the water, you might be lucky enough to have a Carp, Yellow fish, Catfish or Eel on the line.
The Caravan park is next to "Die KAiA" and offers you a space to unwind and relax with your family in the middle of picturesque nature

Built in 1876, this is a homely Cape Colonial style house with a wide view of the Boschberg Mountain range.
The water-wise garden is inhabited by an endemic plant selection rarely seen in gardens. Keeping the garden natural makes it virtually maintenance free and very eco-friendly.

Watsonia Farm Stay offers guests the engaging experience of living on a working farm. Guests have a choice of accommodation from the Farm House to the Rus My Siel and Lynx Cottages.
The Rus My Siel Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 inside and 1 outside and is ideally suited to campers. A gas fridge and stove along with solar power, candles and paraffin lamps provide the basic necessities for self-catering holiday makers. We have braai facilities (wood included) and meals can be requested at the Watsonia Farm house.
The Lynx Cottage is off-grid and we provide solar power, candles and paraffin lamps along with a gas stove and fridge. A donkey boiler for two bathrooms. We have braai facilities and wood readily available.
