With one of South Africa’s national Game parks within an hour’s drive, the Blue Crane region boasts a number of game farms and smaller reservers where local and international guests can venture out on the trail of the Big 5.
Copper Moon Game Farm is situated on the Northern Border of Addo Elephant Park and is nestled in a Valley surrounded by bush, offering stunning views from the verandah ensuring the “African” atmosphere. Guests have access to 8500 ha game farm. Self drive game drives will produce plenty of game viewing opportunities.
Grootvlakte Lodges offers you, the holiday traveller or tourist, a stylish, comfortable and affordable accommodation with all the modern amenities you have come to expect. Breath in the clean mountain air whilst you take in the spectacular scenery of the Blue Crane route.
Koedoeskop is a privately owned 3600 ha nature reserve committed to the preservation of southern African fauna and flora. Our aim is to offer a true experience of the African bush and its wildlife, without unnecessary restraints. We offer activities such as walking, hiking, mountain biking, game and birding viewing as well as botany trailings and tracking.
We offer an ideal place for family and friends to reunite and spend quality time together. Many of our guests have opted to camp overnight in the bush and then attend either a morning, afternoon and evening game drive.
For our younger guests we have a team of staff who have created dedicated activities and we have an explorer’s jungle gym for those active boys and girls.
We have 4 spacious rooms with double beds and two rooms with twin beads. Our cell phone reception is limited, our landline is preferred.

Game Reserve
Kuzuko Lodge is built high upon a hill in a private section of the northern part of the greater Addo Elephant National Park. It is here where breathtaking views from your private veranda are complemented by luxurious chalets and warm, attentive service. Spectacular cosmic safaris, day and night game drives and game walks are but a few of the ways in which you can truly experience a unique and glorious place.
Guests are housed in 24 luxurious chalets, each with a private deck offering spectacular views of the malaria free Karoo Bushveldt of the big five park below. All chalets, of which three are wheelchair accessible, feature an en-suite bathroom with bath and walk in shower, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, colour television, direct dialling telephones and data cable points.
Kuzuko boasts state of the art conference facilities for up to 48 delegates, a business centre, swimming pool, wellness centre, curio shop, bar, lounge, restaurant and bush braai boma. Guests can enjoy nature walks, day and night game drives and bird watching under the guidance of qualified game rangers, or enjoy breathtaking views of the African night sky during an evening cosmic safari with the aid of the lodge telescope mounted in an outdoor amphitheatre.
