Farm Getaways are a popular holiday destination and is colloquially known as agri-stay. And being on the Blue Crane Route, a number of farms are offering guests this unique experience.
On the banks of the Little Fish River, approximately 4km outside Somerset East, on the Suurberg/Addo Road you will find Die KAiA. We offer self-catering accommodation in 4 tented chalets, as well as beautiful camping grounds and Caravans park.
We feel privileged to live on such a beautiful property and invite you to explore our extensive garden with its majestic Oak and Yellowwood trees. Relax on the lawns surrounded by mass-plantings of agapanthus, irises, arum lilies, red-hot pokers and cannas.
It also offers gracious accommodation in its historic cottages. Being close to both Somerset East and the R63 it is very accessible. Stately mountains, lush valleys, forests, rock formations, streams and delightful vistas make an exhilarating environment for a farm holiday for those who love nature and what it has to offer.

Olivewoods B&B offers guests a choice of three rooms with twin beds, and one room with a double bed. Enjoy the swimming pool, or go on a scenic walk, mountain biking through the most spectacular scenery. Our farm experience offers guests interaction with angora goats, sheep, cattle and the rigours of citrus farming.
The Rus My Siel Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 inside and 1 outside and is ideally suited to campers. A gas fridge and stove along with solar power, candles and paraffin lamps provide the basic necessities for self-catering holiday makers. We have braai facilities (wood included) and meals can be requested at the Farm house.
Large windows offer views in three directions as well as letting in lots of light. Upstairs are four en-suite bedrooms including the huge former master bedroom with its bay windows, magnificent views and sitting area. There is one bedroom which shares the bathroom of one of the other bedrooms as a family suite.
